The Pittsburgh Steelers need Big Ben as without him they are not the same team. He is a big part of what they do and making sure he is healthy is probably high on the Steelers list. They do not want to start another season without him. I will keep you posted on what happens, but like now it looks like Big Ben will be having surgery on his foot.

Big Ben May Need Off-Season Foot Surgery
Ben Roethlisberger and doctors thought it would be best to let his foot heal during the off-season, but it looks like that may not have been the best course of action. The way it is looking Big Ben could need surgery anyway. If he does get the surgery which looks like he will he may miss some training camp if there is a season. I wonder how much the lockout has to do with him not having surgery earlier.

Now Or Never For King James
Yep, That is what King James said on his Twitter account it is now or never. No one thought that Lebron James and his young career would have a defining moment like this, but it has come to this. James was absent in Game 4 and must produce in Game 5 or it may haunt him for the rest of his career.
When James was brought to the Heat it was to help them win an NBA Championship. So far in the NBA Finals he has not delivered that signature game that everyone expects from him. I hope Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh will not sit around waiting for it too come. It may never happen and they must realize that right now.
Yes, it would be nice if Lebron James showed up and help out in Game 5, but do not be surprised if he disappears again. It seems he has a reputation for doing that in big games. Like James said it is now or never for him, and he knows it. The question is will he do anything about it or watch his team fail once again.

Dirk Making Critics Keep Quiet With Steady Play
Dirk Nowitzki for all his talent still has never been fully appreciated for what he can do on the basketball court. Yes, he is considered one of the better players in the NBA, but never talked about like Lebron or Kobe. In the 2011 NBA Finals he has made a statement loud and clear to his critics.
Dirk Nowitzki finally has answered all questions about his abilities and his greatness as a basketball player, questions that were never fair in nature. That is the beast of the NBA, but he took it all in stride. When the Dallas Mavericks need someone to step up it is always Dirk Nowitzki who does it.
Even sick he still performs at a high level. Losing Dirk Nowitzki would kill the Dallas Mavericks as he is the heart and soul of the team. If anyone had questions about his heart or desire just replay a few of the 2011 NBA Finals games on the dvd player. Dirk will be the tall guy making all the clutch shots. Yes, just like he has before, but now people are finally noticing what everyone already knew he is an elite player just like Kobe and Lebron.

Even Sick Dirk Propels Dallas To Victory
Dirk Nowitzki has already come up short once in the NBA Finals and he does not want to see that happen again. Nowitzki played last night despite being very sick and help lead the Mavericks to a 86-83 victory over the Heat and tying the series at 2 games apiece. Dirk scored 10 of his 21 points and grabbed five of his 11 rebounds in the final period when it really mattered the most.
For the Heat in the games they lost they had mental breakdowns in the fourth quarter and that happened again. Chris Bosh and Dwyane Wade had good games, but Lebron James was lost and did not really do much scoring for the Heat. He did other things for the Heat, but they could have used his offense down the stretch in the game.
Now Game 5 could be the game that tells us who wins the series. I think Dallas needs it the most as they must go back to Miami. They would rather be up 3-2 than down 3-2. Winning in Miami is tough especially if you are forced to do it twice.

Do The Sports Gods Really Hate Cleveland?
The City of Cleveland has had their share of sports heartbreaks. The Drive, The Fumble, and now The Meltdown. All three of these sporting events have put a deep hole in the Heart of Cleveland Sports. I think though out of all of them though the latest one The Meltdown could hurt the most. It seems the Sports Gods must have something against the City of Cleveland. Before The Meltdown everything was going right for Cleveland when it came to the Cleveland Cavaliers. They had their own, Lebron James leading them and the NBA Championship looked within reach this year. What happen? Simply put The Meltdown!
Cleveland has had the best regular season record the last two years, but have nothing to show for it. The blame can be pass to a lot of people, but it starts with the guys on the court. Yeah, you can blame the coach and his rotations and who he played, but you still must perform. Coach Mike Brown might not be around next year, but the bottom line is the players quit on their coach and the fans. The fans who supported them all season long were let down by the players they cheered for and supported.
The Meltdown as I call it took place with 2 minutes left in the game. The Cavaliers were down, but they choose not to foul a team that struggled at the line all night long. Instead they preferred to do nothing in reality let The Meltdown continue. Cleveland fans deserved better than this. At least give an effort for the whole game and that includes the last two minutes of the game. Lebron James at the end did not give much effort at all either which is a shock. James tells people he is about winning, but after watching Game 5 and Game 6 I am starting to wonder.
Cleveland sports fans deserve better than what they got this season. Now Lebron James will wait to make his decision if he wants to stay or go. Either way it seems the Sports Gods have something against Cleveland. The Meltdown was the final evidence for me.
